Over the last three days we have had a great preseason tryout with 65 players attending. It’s a fantastic Group with a lot of talent.

The list has been posted for players who will be attending the Jamboree, tomorrow 8.22. Those players not attending the jamboree will be practice tomorrow from 3-5pm on the lower grass field.

Those players attending the jamboree should plan on being at the upper turf field by 1:15. Wear a Maroon shirt and bring a white shirt as a back-up. Wear black shorts and white socks.
The jamboree will run until approximately 5:30 pm

A list will be posted tomorrow night for those players who will continue to play with the varsity team. A final selection is likely to be posted on Sunday afternoon.

FRIDAY practice schedule -

Varsity practice will be from 11:00-1 starting on the lower grass and moving to Memorial when Football finishes at 11:30.

Junior Varsity will practice on the lower grass fields from 1:30pm to 3:30pm.

Freshmen will be off on Friday and through the weekend practicing on Monday, 8.26 @3:15 at Emerson Field.

Varsity and Junior Varsity have a scrimmage vs Danvers on Saturday at 5:00pm. Bus departs the HS at 3:30.

We will have a mandatory program meeting for all players and parents on Wednesday, August 28 from 6:00 – 7:00 PM in the CCHS Cafeteria.

This is a great opportunity to learn more about the program, meet the Coaches, the FOCCGS Board and purchase team merchandise.

The FOCCGS is a non-profit board made up of parent volunteers. Our role is to support the CCHS Girls soccer program with fundraising and team events. Responsibilities include securing sponsors and leading our Pink Card fundraiser, organizing parent volunteers for roles like Team Representatives, Varsity Senior Night and Banquet and more.
