https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y82jDHRrswc

2. 120 Test – Full Field sprint down, jog back
20 seconds down, 40 seconds back & rest, repeat
Varsity Standard is to make it down and back in the allotted time 10 times down and back
3. 12 minute run, as many laps as you can

4. Push ups – Varsity Standard is 12 good ones

5. Elbow Plank – Varsity Standard is hold for 2 minutes

Not fitness but a requirement –

6. Juggling – Varsity Standard is 65 or more

If we take a player on varsity who hasn’t met the requirements, they will continue to do the tests weekly until coaching staff feels the player meets the fitness levels necessary for Varsity level play
The expectation is that all players will come into preseason fit and ready regardless of what level they are placed on. All players at all levels will be required to do the fitness tests but the above requirements are Varsity standards and are not requirements for placements on other levels.

Summer Training Opportunities

CCHS Soccer Players- Summer is just around the corner
There are some great and highly-recommended options for summer training to get ready for tryouts and the fall CCWS season.

-Slocum Soccer School High School Prephttps://slocumsoccerschool.com/high-school-prep – this program runs for 8 weeks (15 evening sessions) and provides great skill training, fitness training and workshops.

- Summer Soccer League – details will come – scrimmages two evenings per week against other towns.

- Target Soccer Academy High School Girls Preseason Academyhttps://www.targetsocceracademy.com/high-school-girls-preseason – Aug. 16 – 19.
This occurs just before tryouts and is coached by Fisch and others. This is a great way to prep for the skills and fitness tests that occur at tryouts.

We will update the this website with captain practices and tryout dates as soon as we have them.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,

Annual Appeal Update

Posted by CCHS Womens Soccer at Oct 6, 2020 6:47AM PDT

We have 20% participation. Let’s keep it going!

In past seasons Friends of Concord Carlisle Girls Soccer (FOCCGS) has raised funds to support our program through several fundraisers, including the player run car wash and the annual parents’ social. Obviously, due to COVID, this year is different and fundraising in our normal environment is not possible. We are so grateful our girls can have a season, but now, more than ever, we need your help!

We are reaching out to all parents in the program (currently 55 girls) to help us reach our fundraising goal of $10,000. This will put us in good shape when we hopefully return to normalcy for the 2021 season. As a reminder, FOCCGS fundraising efforts go towards the following:

· Team Bonding Trips and Events

· Assistant Coaches Salaries and Uniforms

· New TradeID game recording system, where players will get individual game highlights

· Team Banner

· Apparel sold at Parents Meeting

· Summer Soccer

· End of Season Banquets

· Training Shirts

· Senior Night and Senior Gifts

Specific to this year:

· Masks provided to each player and staff

· Cleaning Supplies (COVID related)

Please take a moment to Donate . While we have some suggestions listed, every little bit helps! Our goal is 100% participation!
Thanks in advance for all of your support!!
